The Domain

The founding of Vineyards and Cellar goes back to 1931. It was the work of our grandfather Diogène TISSIER. Our vineyard is mainly situated in Courcourt, in the commune of Chavot, reputed for the privilged situation of its sunny hillsides. We pay special attention to the work in the vineyards to harvest good quality grapes, necessary for the making of good champagnes.

Strong from our experience as wine growers over the generations, the pruning, the binding, the trellising and the harvesting are all done by ourselves. We make our DIOGENE TISSIER champagnes from a strict selection of grapes from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier varieties, which gives us the choice for the best blending. All stages in the making of our wines, from the press to the shipment of the bottles, are all carried out in our cellars.
